You sound correct everyone has a different writing technique for their own style. It's very difficult to write something together because everyone sees their ideas differently. I personally wouldn't make a movie with this person that after one disagreement calls you stuck up. I'm not saying she is right or wrong but she shouldn't have insulted for a small bump in the road. Write your own story by yourself and think if you want to share a movie with this friend.
