How much better will I do with an expensive wooden bat compared to a cheaper one?

I mean other than price, if its the same wood/weight/size/ect, whats the main difference between a $25 wooden bat and a $70 wooden bat? Im moving up from a cheap big 5 wood bat to a $70 brett bros wood bat. How much of a difference will it make in my overall distance? Also, im going from ash to maple. What kind of difference will that make? Thanks for any help you can give
