Best camera for an aspiring filmmaker. (16 years old)?

Hey, I am just like you, yet I am 15. Anyway a week ago I just bought my Canon EOS 550D for �600, It took away my life savings but I am very proud of my decision and it realy is a great camera. DSLR's are HUGE in the internet film industry recently and i definately recomend this camera, (with the kit lense). If your american then it is the equivalent of the Rebel T2i, which many famous filmmakers recommend. (Freddie Wong, Clinton Jones, Sam and Niko from Corridor Digital, and Ryan Connoly)
